The Church Restaurant, Mullingar is fitted with a ComfortDisc system for heating and cooling to provide perfect indoor comfort for the guests. The aptly named Church Restaurant is built inside a listed church building that was built in 1825.
It was extremely important to the conservation architects to have a minimal impact on the building fabric while, for the restaurant owners, Aiden and Brendan Convery it was important that their guest be comfortable, without feeling any drafts.
A heating and air conditioning ComfortDisc system was the best choice for this listed building and it met the criteria of the conservation architects and the criteria of the owners. A Daikin air source heat pump provided heating and cooling and is backed up by a ComfortDisc hot water coil supplied by an LPG boiler.
Since the restaurant opened, it has been full almost every night. Guests have complimented the management on how comfortable the restaurant is. The owners and manages are delighted with the comfort provided.
